Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Manager

Hours: 0830 - 1700 (flexible) with an hour for lunch

Location: Head Office in St. Johns, Woking, Surrey

  • Starting annual salary £16,000 pa
  • Target bonus of 1 month salary
  • 25 days holiday per annum

Responsibilities: Processing of export trade documentation to include but not exclusive of the following:

  • Issuance of Sales Contracts
  • Checking of Letter of Credit applications and requesting amendments where necessary
  • Providing instructions for and checking Bills of Lading
  • Generating trade documents using an in-house bespoke database system
  • Working with Chambers of Commerce and Embassies for certification and legalisation of

Certificates of Origin

  • Ensuring compliance of documentation according to Sales Contract and/or Letter of Credit
  • Working closely with other offices and customers worldwide on a daily basis


This is a graduate trainee position

Full training will be provided in all aspects of the role

Ideal candidate:

  • A university graduate with a degree, preferably in the Sciences, (lower second or above) from a reputable university in the UK
  • Must live locally, maximum 30 minute commute by public transport
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and must have a methodical approach to work
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work in a small team, be flexible, and have a can do will do attitude
  • Self-motivated to achieve the standards set whilst enjoying working as part of a successful team, delivering the best possible results.
  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines and at times under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
