My client is a Global supplier to the Automotive trade, and have a superb reputation of being a forward thinking employer, offering fantastic career opportunities. Due to year on year growth, and expansion of their business, they are now seeking a driven and methodical Bodyshop Key Account/ Business Development Manager to join their Global organisation. To succeed within this role, my client is seeking a proactive individual with a background within the Bodyshop or Accident Repair industry and proven track record in sales that has a focus on quality.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the Bodyshop/ Accident repair industry and have a comprehensive understanding of the principal business, including growth and business development. The role will be working with C Level executives in the Industry and adding real value to their business whilst increasing growth for their own product.

Job Objective
The Bodyshop Key Account/ Business Development Manager will work directly with the Managing Director to drive, align and operationalise the Bodyshop/ Accident repair strategy. The Bodyshop Key Account/ Business Development Manager will be responsible for the proactive control, direction and communication of all operational aspects of selected key relationships with the client.

Bodyshop Key Account/ Business Development Manager Experience Knowledge and Skills:

- Wealth of first-hand knowledge of the Automotive market and/or customer service industries
- Understanding of risks faced by the sector and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks
- Comprehensive understanding of how vehicle Bodyshops and/ or networks are built and managed successfully from an operational view point
- Robust existing contact network.
- Ability to operate on the C-suite level
- Willing to develop existing and learn new skills
- Resilient, Competitive and Enthusiastic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative work relationships at all levels
- Thrives in a pressurised high output focused environment

Bodyshop Key Account/ Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

- Maximise all revenue/ profit opportunities whilst maintaining 1st class customer service, ethics and value proposition ratios to our existing and potential customers
- Ensure that all existing allocated customers have been offered/ sold all relevant products relevant to their own business.
- Inform the UK Managing Director of any early warning signs in relation to revenue at risk
- Report weekly actions and objectives to the Managing Director
- Hit required revenue target.
- Prospect, present to, and close new business from any allocated or discovered channel within the remit given.
- Work closely with the internal stakeholders, providing them with support at all times.
- Manage a program of development and/ or implementation activity for selected customers.
- Maintain and build strong operational working relationships with selected key customers
