An Alternative Provision based near Canary Wharf are looking for a fully qualified Humanities Teacher to teach KS4 students who have been excluded from mainstream school. For this Humanities teacher role you must have QTS and strong behavior management skills as the students will have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. This role would suit a Humanities teacher who has taught in mainstream or SEN/PRU environment and is looking for a new challenge for September.

The school is looking for a Humanities teacher who can:

* Plan, deliver and assess students across the Humanities curriculum
* Use a range of behaviour management techniques
* Can deliver inclusive sessions to meet the needs of SEMHD students
* Has taught a range of SEN - including SEMH

This is an independent Alternative Provision which boasts excellent CPD and on-site facilities, including construction lab, nursery and music studio. Every student attends college once a week and they run an apprenticeship scheme to ensure students can develop new skills during their time and once they leave the provision. There is also an additional section for students with other SEN, e.g. ASD which provides inclusive, tailored learning for up to 20 students.
