Our highly successful mixed secondory school with sixth form in the London borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking to recruit a talanted and dynamic English NQT.

You will join a team of excellent teachers with the highest expectations of our students. The English Department is high achieving, with results at all Key Stages well above the national average. We are committed to sharing our passion for the subject, providing a stimulating, dynamic and academically rigorous experience of English for all our students. Classes at all Key Stages are taught in mixed ability groups which allow our students to work to the highest level that each can attain. The department has its own laptops, interactive whiteboards, and a wide range of ICT resources. Each student has access to a rich cultural experience as we offer the opportunity to participate in an extensive range of extra-curricular opportunities. Every year the department organises many theatre trips, as well as external study days for KS4 and KS5 students.

We are a progressive 11-18 school and we benefit from very good transport links with 2 tube stations and bus services close by. Our school enjoys a good reputation in the local community and is often oversubscribed.

We are seeking to attract highly talented teachers to start in July to join our induction and on boarding on 6th July or in September 2017.

The role is to start from in July but we're happy to accommodate for a talented teacher.The ideal applicant would have experience of teaching to a high standard and for NQTs - we will strive to support you to fulfil your potential as a teacher.

This position will be suited for either an outstanding NQT or TeachFirst or Schools Direct applicant who is seeking a more academically focus small school to have a greater impact. For NQT, we will support you with your induction year and for TeachFirst teachers, additional responsibilities could be offered particularly if you have experience in pastoral duties wider curriculum responsibility. We're seeking to find a talented group of teachers able to make a difference.
