Avidity Training is an Apprenticeship Training Provider based in the West Midlands and part of a large national recruitment group. Avidity and the wider group are going through an exciting period of growth and as such an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assessor / Trainer.
The role involves working with learners of all ages and abilities and supporting them through every aspect of their Apprenticeship programme through to completion. The successful candidate will work with learners from induction to completion and be fully responsible for the end to end delivery and on-going assessment for their learners. The role involves working with learners in a 1-2-1 capacity as well as small groups and as such the successful candidate must be comfortable delivering to small groups of learners. Current learners are on apprenticeship frameworks however we are transitioning to the new apprenticeship standards and as such the successful candidate will need to have knowledge of these. The role will involve taking part in Internal Quality Assurance activity for suitably qualified individuals, or for those assessors looking to qualify as an IQA there will be the opportunity to do this for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and qualified trainer / assessor with occupational competency and experience of delivering Customer Service, Business Administration, Team Leading and ideally Warehousing Apprenticeships at level 2 and 3. Candidates who hold a current IV or IQA qualification will be at an advantage. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, is computer and has at least GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at C or above. The successful candidate must be a confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Due to the growth plans for Avidity this role does allow scope for development and progression for the right candidate.
This role is based in the Walsall, West Midlands with travel to learners’ workplaces. The role attracts a salary of £20,000 - £24,000 per annum with scope to increase for the right candidate. There is an attractive benefits package and 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
