Main Purpose of Job:

  • To facilitate and supervise Mortgage Advisers (MA) in providing quality mortgage advice and guidance, in accordance with the the company's mortgage sales process and within regulatory guidelines
  • To develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Ensure the successful development of the company in line with the strategy discussed and agreed with the Directors

Key areas of responsibility:

  • To monitor MA's advising and arranging mortgage and mortgage related protection products to customers
  • To monitor MA's providing the highest level of mortgage advise to customers
  • To monitor MA's in providing the highest level of service to our clients and customers
  • To ensure the mortgage sales process is adhered to
  • To meet and maintain competency utilising call recording, observations, file checks, product testing, training etc
  • For the team of MA's to meet the agreed sales targets and key performance indicators
  • To identify, monitor and deliver agreed sales targets and budgets
  • To make ad hoc checks to ensure that all documentation used by the MA's is up to date
  • To make ad hoc checks of customer files to ensure completed documentation is to standard
  • To ensure that a record of continuing professional development is maintained in line with the Company T&C Scheme
  • To keep up to date with products changes
  • Ensure that all current regulation guidelines are met
  • To provide MI as directed and to utilise this information to improve performance
  • To ensure all Company polices are adhered to, including Money Laundering Guidelines, Data Protection Policy and the Anti Bribery Programme
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required by the Sales Manager, Sales Director, and Management Team

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

  • 5 years proven sales/customer facing experience within the provision of a sales/mortgage advice environment
  • CEMAP mortgage qualification or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills
  • Full driving licence
