As part of my client's continued growth plans they are now looking to recruit an Ecommerce Web and Digital Marketing Executive/ Manager who will be responsible for growing their ecommerce business.
My client is a UK premier supplier to the B2B/trade market, and are now launching a consumer-facing e-commerce website.
This is a new position and an excellent opportunity to join a busy, ambitious and forward-thinking company based in Colchester.
Reporting into the Directors, the role is varied and you'll be responsible for managing the day-today on-site content, driving traffic and sales, retention and acquisition. You will be involved in the web design and development process, content marketing, PR and outreach strategy, as well as paid search and paid social strategy working alongside their digital marketing agency.
You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and will have been in a similar role previously. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background and be a strategic thinker, excellent communicator to introduce change, creative, accurate, organised individual who can proactively ensure we are maximising our brands identity and who can prioritise their own workload whilst working in a fast-paced environment. This role will require someone that is confident and able to both follow direction and show initiative.
*Lead the planning and execution of the marketing strategy to drive online sales of bespoke products to the consumer market.
*Website management, updating, managing and customising content, including all new product information, product spec data, photography, video, reviews, blogs, vlogs.
*Set up and management of ecommerce related email automation campaigns, such as welcome, engagement, re-¬engagement, up-¬sell and abandoned cart.
*Manage all digital marketing activity working with our digital marketing agency to drive traffic via a variety of channels including but not exclusive to Organic Search, PPC, Social, Display, and Affiliates.
*Oversee the development of engaging content to support campaigns and develop awareness of their offering and unique product lines.
*Set up and application of cross-domain and event tracking dependent on campaign requirements.
*Analyse the performance of product merchandising
*Building their customer knowledge through research and data analysis
*Evaluating the customer journey working closely with their digital marketing agency to ensure optimal end to end user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) to deliver optimum sales results.
*Creation of testing and reporting structures, KPI analysis and data insight, along with recommendations for continual commercial improvement ensuring ROI is maximised.
*Customer service support (returns, stock control, online e-commerce system)
*Monitor and report on campaign performance as well as manage weekly promotional activity.
*Performing regular checks ensuring all in stock products are available for purchase online.
*Maintain and communicate promotional activity.
*Hands on digital marketing experience covering acquisition, retention and re-engagement in an ecommerce environment.
*Knowledge of the consumer retail market in the UK.
*Experience of delivering new marketing projects.
*Expertise in relevant systems, e.g. Mail Chimp or DotMailer or other email platforms, Magento platform.
*Knowledge of SEO.
*Knowledge of online marketing (Google and Bing AdWords/Shopping, Paid Social Media - Facebook & Instagram).

*Self- motivated and highly organised
*Hold a full UK Driving Licence
