Purchasing Administrator
£20,000 -
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join their busy operations team.

The role of a Purchasing Assistant includes:
" Negotiating costs
" Liaising with suppliers
" Building rapport and relationships so good customer service is essential
" Ordering stock and stock management
" Managing stock levels
" Negotiating rates for parts with suppliers and customers.
" Track the imports ensuring the carriers pick up goods in a timely fashion.
" Working to strict deadlines

As a Purchasing Assistant you will need the following:
" Experience in purchasing/procurement/ buying
" Experience ordering
" Excellent Customer Service and relationship building experience
" Strong attention to detail and accuracy
" Driver's license
" Strong administration skills within a similar role
" Excellent written and verbal skills
" Basic skills on excel
" Use of Kanban is not essential but extremely ideal!

In return the successful Purchasing Assistant will receive a competitive basic salary of £20,000-23,000 depending on your previous purchasing experience and benefits include:-
