Internal Sales Executive: Digbeth, Birmingham

Responsible to: Northern & Southern Sales Managers

Overview

Reporting to the Northern & Southern Sales Managers, your role will focus on developing new sales opportunities for the SFS product, supporting the Area Sales Managers and providing monthly sales reports for the commercial team. You will be an integral part of the day to day work of a busy sales team,


Key Responsibilities and objectives of the role will include:

  • Working closely with the ASM's to maximise sales opportunities and secure orders
  • Liaising with the Sales Team ASM's for project forecasting.
  • Prospecting via telephone and email to potential customers using information from various internal & external sources
  • Interrogating project information from Framework Contractors to identify live opportunities
  • Populating the CRM database with relevant information and updating on a weekly basis
  • Producing specific sales reports on a monthly basis for the management team
  • Liaising with the ASM's to arrange face to face appointments
  • Developing a technical knowledge of KSBS products
  • Participation at KSBS review meetings & project meetings as required
  • Controlling incoming enquiries, sourcing key information and distributing accordingly

Candidates should have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Experience of construction or similar based industry
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
  • Be well organised with a can-do attitude
  • Able to work in a high-pressured environment
  • Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Be able to demonstrate strong MS office knowledge, especially Excel
  • Ensure that deadlines and commitments are met
  • Be pro-active and possess good common sense
  • Ability to develop excellent relationships with all internal & external customers
  • Knowledge of CRM (in particular Salesforce) would be of benefit
