A top UK B2B media company is looking for an experienced and motivated person to develop a sales territory and thereby achieve the annual budget for that territory by increasing client spend from regulars and cold calling to introduce new clients.

The job role is made up of 5 main components;

  • Current Clients - Managing and increasing revenue through the different products ranges (Magazine, event sponsorship and digital products including web site and email newsletter advertising opportunities)
  • New Clients - Increase the size of the territory by cold calling and securing new long term clients.
  • Market Share - Feeding back competitor intelligence to senior management especially if and when the market or trends are changing in a way that will impact on sales.
  • Territory Development - Developing their territory and achieving agreed levels of year on year growth in revenue, clients and use of products and services.
  • New Product Development - Put forward new ideas for new digital, event and print products based on feedback from the market and clients. Insider has a culture of innovation and good ideas will be rapidly adopted.

The successful client will have proven track record in B2B sales and business development. Experience in media or advertising is essential.
