A school in Medway are seeking a Year 1. This position is on a long term contract and is to begin in June 2017 – December 2017 working in a ‘Good’ Ofsted report School. Both NQTs and experienced Teachers can be considered for this role. The School want to make sure the candidate is the right person who can adapt quickly and build a relationship with the children as quickly as possible.

The School based in Gillingham are looking for a Year 1 Teacher working Monday - Friday teaching a Year 1 class. KS1 have their own section for where there at two main classrooms a music room and space for other activities if needed. Staff work as a strong team who encourage learning outside the classroom, the importance of being independent and pushing creativeness within all pupils. Staff encourage involvement with parents where every month the school send out a newsletter to share with parents what their children have been learning. The class are in need of some looking after as they have been without a teacher since September so the school are looking for somebody who can dedicate their time and support to these children.

The Schools ideal candidate would need to have recent teaching experience, Strong classroom management skills, can promote cultural development, and Close the gap in performance of all pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.
