Recruiting for a Purchase Ledger clerk to work a 12 Month FTC Maternity Cover with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Salary - £20k
Full Time

Essential - 
To process supplier invoices and supplier credit notes

To reconcile supplier statements

The filing and archiving of departmental records

Key Duties - 

Process Supplier invoices and deal with any invoice queries

Support the returns department in the resolution of supplier queries and process supplier credit notes

Ensure all emails in the accounts payable inbox are dealt with in a timely manner

Maintain Invoices relating to warehouse orders on a daily basis

Reconciling the clients bank accounts, ensuring all post payments are updated on QICT

Deal with all supplier payments and distributing any remittance advices

Opening and distributing the morning post

Undertake reasonable tasks as decided by the finance director.

Ideally the person should have -

A general knowledge of Microsoft Office

A polite manner in all dealings with suppliers, customers, colleagues etc

A minimum of five good GCSE’s including Mathematics and English
