Club Manager - 24 Hour Gym - East London - NEW OPENING

Reporting to: Club Owners

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 plus generous target driven bonus.

The Club Manager is responsible for the sale of new memberships, generation of prospective members and marketing the gym to the local community as well as being responsible for the most important task of ensuring we have a first class facility our members love to train in.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. We are looking for a naturally proactive individual who can generate leads and convert them into sales and also meet retention targets by ensuring our members continue training with us. The owners would like to give the manager full autonomy in shaping and maintaining the culture of the club and it’s members - providing a real opportunity to put your own stamp on the business.

What we are looking for:

You will have worked in a management role within the fitness industry. You will have excellent management and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record in managing a team of sales staff. You will enjoy working within a structured and successful sales process working to agreed KPIs. You must have the ability to promote and culture within the club

You need to have an outgoing personality and be extremely confident in face-to-face meetings. You will be responsible for converting new leads into appointments and then closing the sale. Experience of pre-sale is highly desirable.

You will be managed against your own and the Club KPIs, and will be involved at a senior level in establishing your club as the No 1 Health Club in your local area.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Exact working hours will be determined, but will involve a minimum of 40 hours per week, occasionally scheduled across evenings, week-ends and public holidays as required.
