Information Systems is a key strategic enabler in the realisation of this goal and is currently transforming both Systems and Technology to support this. IS Service Delivery underpins Nissan Europe’s entire operational activities, responsible for Service Operation of hundreds of systems, including many critical, real time applications which cover the entire spectrum of Nissan’s operations: from pan-European dealer ordering, financial, manufacturing, logistics and after-sales to name but a few.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Change Management: deliver application changes to provide high quality solutions
  • Service Improvements: identify and implement opportunities for improvements to Service Delivery activities
  • Operational Management: co-ordinate the resolution of critical incidents with robust problem follow up and permanent solutions
  • Team Development: ensure operational quality of Service Delivery through effective personnel and resource development
  • Relationship Building: develop constructive relationships to ensure Service Delivery is recognised as a trusted partner within Nissan Europe

Minimum Education & Background

  • 5 years’ experience working in technology teams
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
  • A proven ability to acquire business domain knowledge
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Ability to engage with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Able to work under pressure without compromising on quality
  • A forward thinking outlook, able to spot opportunities
  • Educated to Degree Level (Desirable)
  • ITIL appreciation (Desirable)
  • Experience of using Service Now or equivalent ITSM tool (Desirable)
