Head Chef - St Andrews
We are looking to a hire a high quality Head Chef for a top class restaurant in St Andrews.
With over 90 covers and an outside area, you will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the kitchen environment including food production, stock control, legislation and staffing. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting and developing a team of chefs which is capable of consistently exceeding customer expectations for high quality dishes. To succeed in this role as Head Chef, you will manage kitchen costs effectively, to ensure that the menu produced generates the required gross profit margin for the business.
As Head Chef you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, creativity and commercial awareness to ensure a successful kitchen operation. As a successful Head Chef with our client you will have a strong support network as part of an already very successful organisation. You can also expect to receive ongoing training and development to help you build and maintain your existing culinary and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate for Head Chef with our client will have demonstrable experience in busy kitchens, you may be a highly experienced Sous Chef looking to make the step up, or you could already be operating as a Head Chef and looking for a fresh challenge.
