Sales Consultant - Commercial Property

Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Salary: £18k, initial OTE c £20k
Contract: Permanent, Full time (40 Hours)

My client is a unique and dynamic commercial property management and marketing business with a pro-active approach to providing solutions to businesses. Sales Consultant - Main Purpose of the position:

  • To generate commercial property licences and leases by advertising and filling property vacancies within existing and new premises
  • To actively ensure financial & personal targets are met in coverage area regardless of market conditions
  • Pro-active marketing of Exeid through digital media and other traditional methods
  • Structure & organise diary to ensure adequate time is given to key activities eg applicant management, client feedback and canvassing etc
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer and broker relationships


Liaison with: All Staff, Clients, Landlords, Brokers

Sales Consultant - Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Attracting and securing clients and tenants by advertising property vacancies, obtaining referrals/networking, handling telephone & email enquiries and establishing/negotiating rates
  • Proactively locating and developing new business through the appropriate media
  • Establishing key relationships with clients and brokers to ensure maximum exposure
  • Ensuring all opportunities are taken to promote Exeid Ltd and increasing client base
  • Perform needs assessment & identify the best solution for clients` needs
  • Discuss options with clients and give an indication of costs, timescales & availability
  • Engage prospective clients, where appropriate and arrange and conduct viewings
  • Negotiate terms of the Licence Agreement & prepare documentation
  • Ensure client communications are handled within the required timeframe & to company standards
  • Liaise with the rest of the team to obtain sales leads and have full knowledge of facilities and services offered by Exeid on a local and national basis

Sales Consultant - Minimum skills required:

  • At least twelve months work experience in a customer/client facing role
  • Sales/task oriented
  • Strong communication, listening and presentation skills
  • Professionalism, good time management and organisational skills
  • Currently living in or around Norwich area

Salary and bonus structure dependent on level of experience; Initial OTE c£20k
