The Account Executive is responsible for customer service and product delivery through constant liaison with marketing managers, suppliers, and supply chain contacts on all matters relating to print management. Requests for quotations will be processed in a responsive manner and clients will be updated regularly on the progress of their work. The Account Executive will, select the most appropriate supplier, negotiate costing and timescales for each job, manage benchmark information and ensure that internal procedures are followed at all times. In addition, they will work closely together with colleagues in supporting the Account Manager with daily operations, be organised and follow site best practice processes.
You will have a full understanding of Direct Marketing, Direct Mail and Commercial print processes, advising on most suitable print method and suppliers. You will be responsible for the procurement of print, delivering on time, to specification, to quality, and to contractual targets. You will have an understanding of how Williams Lea Tag can support and deliver added value to the client as well as the contract with the client and the Williams Lea Tag proposition. You will support clients with minimal print knowledge on a day-to-day basis with print requirements. You will analyse data to provide added value to the client and use Excel and stock reports on a day-to-day basis.
You will attend customer meetings, develop a good understanding of the client’s business and industry sector, and build relationships with clients and manage their perceptions and expectations. You will understand client abilities and where added value needs to input to improve client relationships
You will assist in the management of communication channels between their team, marketing managers, suppliers, and Williams Lea Tag operations in order to provide exceptional customer service and high quality products. You will advise on changed project details, for example, print spec/deadlines. You must speak clearly and concisely, ensuring all important information is communicated. You should ask relevant questions to ensure understanding and must be sensitive to the client’s needs, remaining calm and confident, even in difficult situations.
Planning and Organising
You will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of activities to ensure best use of own and others’ time and resources and you should take a logical and systematic approach to work, monitoring progress on tasks and reprioritising them to take account of changing circumstances. You must have the ability to track several projects at once and monitor their progress at suppliers or at Williams Lea Tag operations. You are to ensure that any quotes requested are generated within the agreed SLA.
It is essential that you are client focused with a flexible approach and you have DM and commercial print experience. You must have excellent client facing and customer service skills and be all round service minded. You have sound Excel skills and the ability to analyse data, with excellent attention to detail and are well organised. You have strong communication skills and are able to communicate effectively to clients daily, and select the correct method of communication depending on the situation. You have a natural ability to build relationships with both clients and colleagues, and are commercially strong and numerate. You have experience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing and specifications and client requirements are subject to change. You can manage change and keep a clear perspective of end goals and you are a team worker with a positive outlook.
In return the Account Executive will receive a salary of up to £35,000 and benefits which includes Private Medical Insurance, Life Insurance/Life Assurance, Company Pension, Corporate Eye Care, Personal Accident and Company Sick Pay.
