Senior Relationship Managers Assistant
We are looking for a Administration manager or a experienced Relationship Managers Assistant to work for three Private Banking Directors, managing the assistant’s workflow, alongside the Directors.
So to apply and do the job you must have extensive knowledge and experience within a similar role within private banking within the UK
Previous client contact experience in previous roles, via the phone and email. Full understanding of the private banking process.
This role will be quite diverse in the sense that the selected candidate will be expected to get involved in both the good and bad tasks
Level 4 or CeMap preferred but not essential.
This is not a stepping-stone into a Private banking role but for someone who enjoys private banking but does not want to do sales and develop their own client file.
Duties will include inputting of payments, deposits, loans, FX deals and transfers on Globus
Inputting of securities transactions into Mercury system, writing CIPs and Credit Applications
Opening of new accounts, ensure the client file is complete and all forms and due diligence are properly completed and prepare the client approval form
Retrieval and distribution of Banking Reports from internal system
Assisting with the preparation of Credit Applications and liaising with the Credit department on an ongoing basis
Obtain ad-hoc valuations of clients’ investment portfolios and, if required, prepare a consolidated position of their business with the Bank
Assist in the travel arrangements and preparation of CRO business trips and ensure all documentation and forms required during the trip are packed
Apply for/prepare replies to Bank reference enquiries for and/or on behalf of the bank's clients
Dealing with clients' correspondence and ensure execution of client payment instructions
Undertaking some marketing to existing and potential clients, involving necessary research. I.e. Google I financial press and other sources
Updating Jupiter marketing system on a regular basis
Preparation of cash for collection and receipt, order new/replacement chequebooks
Prepare monthly Business in Progress returns, monitor activity on accounts daily
Preparation for Private Banker’s meetings with clients
Preparation of expenses, answer calls and take messages, diary management and filing
To attend relevant new training courses (e.g. products, regulatory) and refresher training as required, ensuring that the database is up to date at all times
