Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Pharmacist - St Albans


Are you a Pharmacist registered with the GPhC? Have you dispensed prescriptions and have good quality assurance / checking experience? Want to work for a global pharmaceutical company? If yes then please read on.
Your role as a Quality Assurance / Checking Pharmacist will involve dispensing prescriptions for specialist therapies for patients at home. You will review and release drug products, ensuring that drug products comply with specification and customer orders prior to release and is released according to the schedule. You will ensure quality compliance to ISO and GMP standards.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Prescription receipt, clinical screening and intervention where needed.
• Small volume/large volume product order entry on the PMR.
• Prescription product order assembly/dispensing.
• Stock receipt and stock control of compounded products.
• Patient compliance and reporting.
• Collation, review and completion of batch documentation to support product release.
• Support for and co-ordination of quality investigations i.e. NCR/CAPA/Complaint handling and logging.
• Support of documentation control activities.

This is a full time permanent role working Mon - Fri 11.00 am – 7.00 pm. The salary is £35,000 - £41,000 per annum which is negotiable for the right candidate and great benefits such as holidays, 8% Pension, Group Life Assurance and Income Protection, share options and much more….
