An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT trainer to develop & deliver a suite of end user software training, learning & development courses for Microsoft desktop communications & conferencing products.
This product trainer position will be involved in the delivery of face to face, online webinar and conference call based software training initiatives. The IT trainer will teach end users how to use hosted telecommunications & desktop voice & video conferencing software solutions (unified communications UC) such as Skype for Business etc.
The successful position holder will drive customer adoption through the creation & delivery of exciting training initiatives which will include the preparation of training material and delivery of learning initiatives.
The software trainer will take ownership for identifying, researching, designing, developing, evaluating and delivering training initiatives which support the product development, customer delivery and end user customers to maximise the benefits offered by this instant messenger, communication, collaboration and conferencing tool.
Working for this highly successful technology business as part of the converged IT solutions & unified communications product team, this software trainer role is offered on a permanent basis with a basic salary of circa £35,000 per annum plus car allowance and generous benefits package. The position can be based in either London or Watford Hertfordshire however will require travel, predominantly throughout London & the south east region.
The IT Trainer will assess the development needs of overall technical teams and individual employees, recommending, creating and delivering suitable solutions. You will take ownership of the strategic learning plans and support the business in the creation of technical roadmaps to monitor and measure success. The trainer can expect to be involved with:
# Identification of product training needs
# Development of training collateral
# Design of learning aids and support documentation
# Delivery of face to face, online webinar and conference call based training
# Training of super-user, master -user and systems evangelist to drive product adoption
# Analytics of training success to aid research & development plans to drive user adoption
# Product advocacy through the delivery of end user feedback to product development teams
# Help product management to define product value proposition
# Working collaboratively with product, marketing, presales & customer operations teams
To be seriously considered for this position, potential candidates should possess similar previous experience to include:
# Delivering training & coaching initiatives
# Presenting to large groups of enterprise customer, end users
# Effectively communicating on the usage & functionality of software, internet, IT or technology tools
# Confident user of IT, internet, software, applications or similar technology based tools
# Any previous experience of Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft Office Communicator, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Messenger or similar Unified Communications tools is highly desirable but not essential
# Candidates should be able to drive and be willing to travel
