Salary Range:

Expected salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 plus commission, depending on experience.

Role Purpose:

An additional member to the channel sales team to manage and grow opportunities to further develop our channel offering/pipeline.

Channel has the potential as a growing opportunity for the group specifically around our Skype for Business offering and Professional services skills. The role is required to focus on our large to medium size partners and develop further future partners.

Personal Profile:

  • Consistent channel sales record within telecoms, ISP, carrier or systems integrator space

  • 5+ years sales and account management experience, with a preference for experience in managing and developing channel and/or business development;

  • Previous experience in managing and nurturing larger accounts

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

  • Ability to accept and evolve with changes in policies and procedures

  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Proven ability of critical thinking, using logic and reason along with a sound commercial acumen

  • Self-motivated and experience in successfully working to targets

  • Demonstrated pro-active troubleshooting, listening and problem solving skills

  • A smart appearance and professional manner

  • Interactions with partner and channel leadership to maintain and grow existing partner relationships

  • Channel management planning, strategic and operational planning, market development, business planning, and forecasting

  • Address large groups through public speaking, presentation development and delivery and partner events

  • Participating on sales conference calls, meetings and in RFP execution

  • Assisting Partners with opportunity qualification and pipeline management

  • Must be willing and able to travel UK mainland wide 30 - 60% of the time

  • Expertise/knowledge in Unified Communications, ICT and networking;

  • Excellent negotiating skills

  • Excellent relationship building skills

  • Must be driven, self-motivated and disciplined

  • Articulate and polished with a professional approach to sales

  • Eager to learn and develop and contribute to a growing business organisation
