Operations Manager / Head of Operations (Field Service Maintenance & Helpdesk)

Looking for an experienced, ambitious, driven, decisive, problem solver with previous operations management experience in a medium to large scale nationwide commercial electronic / mechanical service maintenance company.

This role is to take on the Head of Operations responsibility initially, with the potential for rapid internal promotion to Operations Director.

The initial role is to take over the full P&L responsibility for the Wolverhampton based Contact Centres (Helpdesk / Service Desk), Technical Support, UK wide Field Service and Installations Engineers and relationships with internal and external partners.

The business unit specialise in CCTV and Intruder systems, experience / knowledge of the Electronic Security Industry would be very beneficial (not essential).

This department has over 150 FTE's, plus a variety of relationships with sub-contract businesses and individuals. Annual Service Delivery T/O is over £20M.

You should have experience managing a similar scale operation, with full P&L responsibility. In this position you will have the 5 heads of department reporting to you.

You will work closely with the current Operations Director and gradually take on more responsibility at that level.

This role is to drive the operation, improve margins, reduce cost, increase efficiency, look for new opportunities and possible new revenue streams.

Salary is negotiable, we need to find the right candidate, expected salary in the region of £60K + exec level car and 10%+ Bonus.
