Reed Education Swindon are currently working with an independent school in Gloucestershire, to recruit a Teacher of Spanish. To start in September, the school, based on the outskirts of Stroud, are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Spanish Teacher to join them on a part time, permanent basis.

The School and Role:

• They are a small independent school that provides an alternative to mainstream education for pupils aged 6 – 18.
• Ofsted rated good, they focus on a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
• The role is to teach in the middle and upper school, which is for pupils aged 12 – 18 years old.
• The upper school students receive a stimulating and highly academic programme, supported by the schools own exams and assessment process.

What you will need:

• Degree level education in a relevant subject (a PGCE is not essential).
• The ability to teach advanced level Spanish.
• The ability and confidence to effectively communicate with students between the ages of 12 – 18.
• An awareness and interest in holistic education.
• A flexible and open minded attitude.
