Shops Manager - Retail
Reporting to the Shops Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of quality service, through maintaining the highest possible standards.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
To deliver sales and service superiority in line with the company mission statement.
To develop your team and lead them to excellence
Ensuring a "caring culture" which drive standards Overseeing the recruitment plans for each area in the department with the help of Human resources.
Deputise in the absence of the Shops Manager and Team Leaders when necessary.
Benchmark results from all Shops venues to realise best practices and ensure implementation and consistency.
Implement/develop "Standard Operating Procedures" within all venues to drive efficiencies and ensuring we are using the resources appropriate to the task
Ensure the adherence to all company health and safety policies (including fire, health & safety, norovirus and food hygiene)
To have a pro-active approach to everything within the Shops Department and be able to look at new ways of doing things
Be able to measure the results and efficiencies of each venue within the Shops Department
Control and manage all budgets set
Be able to focus on the detail and prioritise to ensure the biggest positive impact.
Strong communication skills to allow good relationships.
Have a passion to deliver exceptional customer service in a results based environment
Manage Annual stock Takes
Be able to meet set targets
Motivate and Focus on team morale.
