A leading and highly reputable chartered, accountancy practice, is searching for a client facing, Business Services Senior to join their successful team, in a client support role, supporting clients with forthcoming, making tax digital changes, preparing management accounts, vat returns, bookkeeping, tax and other services. You will carve a key role here, adding value to clients and assisting them with these transitions.

Joining the firm, as a Business Services Senior, based from their Taunton offices, you will carve a key role, hands on and client facing role here, as you develop within this firm and environment. Acting for varied sole trader, partnership and limited company SME's and OMB's of varying size and industry sector, you will deliver management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and other services, with potential involvement in tax and other areas, alongside this, to your clients. As you develop within the role, there will be scope to offer a key support facility to clients, as they make the transition with making tax digital, assisting clients with these changes, with the potential for a client facing element to your role, on client site. You will therefore have the potential to carve a key role here and will indeed be encouraged and supported, to develop your technical skills and progress in this successful firm.
Whilst holding an AAT qualification may be a bonus, if supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a strong, relevant, experienced background only, is equally of interest, as well.
You will have anything from 2 - 3 years, or significantly more experience within accountancy, in your career so far, as an accounting technician, assistant accountant, business services senior etc. Individuals with a background working within the accountancy practice sector, for a firm of any size, preparing management accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and other services, for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, will be of high interest. Alongside this, given the nature of this role, you may also come with a career background in commerce and industry, interested in the prospect of transferring your skills into the profession, perhaps attracted by the prospect and challenge, of dealing with wide ranging clients and adding value, supporting them, in a client facing capacity. To be suitable, if coming from an industry background, you will have wide ranging experience across finance, with demonstrable experience across all areas of purchase ledger, sales ledger, VAT, CIS, payroll etc, so bringing this wide ranging experience. Alongside this, you will ideally be able to demonstrate experience of dealing with outside suppliers, customers and clients and bring the competencies and abilities to deal with clients and indeed enjoy this element, along side the technical hands on delivery of accounting services.
£19,000 - £24,000 plus benefits, negotiable, dependent on experience and background.
