A leading global business is looking for a Fabric & Textiles Co-ordinator to work alongside a world famous luxury brand in London.

In this role, the successful candidate will play a key part in providing total quality assurance across RTW, Accessories and Footwear. Acting as liaison between your employer, its Labs and the client, you will be responsible for ensuring all fabrics are tested and approved for mass market.

As Fabric & Textile Co-Ordinator your responsibilities will include:

*Acting as the main point of contact for the client in terms of any business related queries
*Ensuring you are actively chasing progress and meeting agreed deadlines in the areas of product and quality standards
*Maintaining strong communication with your employer and the client
*Managing and approving test report approvals for bulk production
*Working alongside the retailers Technical Team and Product Developers in resolving any testing issues and making any necessary improvements to processes
*Responding to any queries from your employer and client in a timely manner
*To identify and progress clear sales opportunities (locally and globally) and to ensure that all opportunities are maximised to ensure company growth

The ideal candidate will come from a similar role, with a relevant qualification in fabric and textiles. You will have an excellent understanding of fabrics and their composition, a thorough understanding of the testing process and reporting and a good knowledge of current legislation in regards to health and safety. The aim is to provide an effective service ensuring your clients garments are suitable to sell on the mass market!

Other desirable qualities include:

*Previous experience as a Product/Fabric Technologist
*The ability to work unsupervised
*Excellent communication and relationship building skills
*The ability to work to tight deadlines
*A good knowledge of standard computer software packages

Although this role will be based at the clients Head Office in Central London, you may occasionally be asked to attend meetings at your employers Head Offices based in the Midlands and the North.
