To handle complex, challenging projects with many interdependencies between system architecture and algorithm design;
To use several solver libraries and programming languages;
Work efficiently in an interdisciplinary team of software developers, optimisation scientists and business people on a common goal;
Use mathematical insights to inform real business problems as well as understanding its limitations;
Work with complex clients providing solutions in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
You have commercial development experience, in particular with implementing optimisation or artificial intelligence technologies;
You have evidence that supports the diversity and depth of your knowledge in Optimisation, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Operations Research;
You have evidence that you can develop beautiful and well documented code, with comprehensive test suites;
Ability to work with a diverse range of people to understand what problems need solving, what success looks like and how to get there;
Ability to work autonomously, with an interest in mentoring other team members;
You excel in mentoring and inspiring others about the awesomeness of maths and optimisation;
You have experience working with complex clients.
Preferably a Doctorate otherwise a Masters Degree or higher together with a strong academic record in computer science, mathematics and optimisation.What Satalia Offers
