Salary: £30-£35K plus bonus, private healthcare and study support

Location: Staines-Upon-Thames

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Job Type: Permanent with an immediate start

We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant, reporting to the Data Analyst Manager and liaising with the Operations Managers and Catering Managers at each site.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Preparation of monthly site trading accounts & related invoices

  • Variance analysis

  • Journal preparation

  • Creation & running of management reports

  • Setting up budget templates and supporting operations managers with their completion

  • Checking of weekly site returns

  • Providing accounting support to onsite catering managers

  • Extracting information from site accounting systems

  • Phasing of site budgets & loading into head office accounts systems

  • Setting up Excel templates

  • Performing ad hoc accounts analysis

  • Providing basic IT support to head office and site staff

    Person specification:

  • Proven good accounting skills

  • Keen interest in IT with excellent Excel skills

  • Presents information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form

  • Effective in seeking relevant data and demonstrates good analytical skills

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to department goals and objectives

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to establish rapport and build partnerships with colleagues and clients

  • Helps and supports team members in accomplishing department goals

  • Ability to plan, prioritise and complete work within time frames

  • Good time management and organisational skills

  • A working knowledge of Excel Macro’s would be an advantage
