This Junior Accountant job in Sittingbourne, Kent is ideal for an AAT/ACA qualified or part-qualified accountant who is currently working in a public practice accountancy firm. The right candidate should have excellent attention to detail and communication skills and at least 6 months previous experience of working within a public practice accountancy firm.

The main responsibilities of the Junior Accountant will include;
- Assisting with accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, and Partnerships
- VAT Returns
- Bookkeeping and Payroll duties
- Assisting with tax computations, both Personal and Corporate
- Liaising with clients
- Assisting in the management of client files
The successful Junior Accountant will have experience of working in a busy public practice accountancy firm and have the ambition to carve out a career working in Practice. The Accountant will be assisting the owner in managing a portfolio of clients, therefore great organisational skills and confidence in communicating with clients is essential. Candidates without prior practice-based experience will not be considered for this role.
