I am currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Business Assurance Manager - home based in the South West.

In this role you will be expected to manage the operation of an effective business assurance function. This will include operating a risk based file review regime, meeting the file review requirements of the T&C scheme, assessing the advice quality and process competence of pre and post CAS advisers and operating a robust Quality Control regime across the activities of the Business Assurance Team.

Minimum requirements for this role will be QCF Level 4, in return you will work for one the UK's largest Networks, offering fantastic benefits and the opportunity to work from home. 

You will be supporting approximately 15-18 direct reports -

• To manage the operation of an effective business assurance function to oversee financial advice delivered within the Network and ensure good customer outcomes.
• Manage the workload of the team to deliver agreed checking levels and SLAs.
• Set objectives, monitor performance, conduct one to one meetings and performance reviews as required by company policy.
• Deliver the key commitments of their Training & Competence scheme in relation to case checking activity.
• Build and maintain a resource planning and forecasting model, and use this to manage pipeline, anticipate and address future issues.
• Identify AR and adviser risks and implement appropriate mitigation or intervention.
• Operate a robust Quality Assurance regime across the activities of the Business Assurance team.
• Provide detailed Management Information on activities and delivery of T&C scheme requirements.
• Maintain Risk Registers for the Business Assurance team, deliver actions to enhance controls and escalate any identified regulatory, control and process risks to the wider business.

To be considered for this role you will have :

• Level 4 Diploma
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities with a clear delivery and customer service focus.
• Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills as you will have contact with a wide variety of departments and external organisations.
•Strong from an operational perspective
•Comfortable working from home and with a home based team
•Good technical skills
