E-LEARNING TECHNOLOGIST

Part Time

Hours: 16 per week

Site: Based at North Street but will be expected to travel to other LCB sites on regular basis

Salary: Up to £8,755 per annum (actual salary)

We require a part time E-Learning Technologist to assist in achieving the goals set out in the College E-learning strategy.

Duties will include supporting the maintenance and development of the College VLE, assisting in creating multimedia objects through video and audio recording, editing and production and delivering staff training sessions in the use of learning technologies and approaches to blended learning. The post holder will also be required to network with the wider E-learning community to share best practice and maintain a high level of awareness of the sector.

You will be enthusiastic, well organised and have the ability to meet deadlines. You should have recent and relevant work experience along with a relevant degree i.e. (technology enhance learning, teaching, computing) or significant equivalent experience in an educational environment.
