Fixed term contract of up to 12 months (maternity cover)
22.2 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Salary range: Unqualified: £18,429 - £23,364, Qualified £24,781 - £33,323 (Qualified) per annum pro rata (Actual: Unqualified £11,054.84 - £14,018.23 Qualified) £14,863.26 - £19,991.31 per annum)
We require a part-time Lecturer in Travel & Tourism to plan and deliver Level 2 and 3 Travel and Tourism and carry out the tasks detailed, efficiently and effectively, within the curriculum/programme delivery areas, under the direction of the Head of Faculty.
To be shortlisted for this vacancy you will meet the essential criteria which includes holding a degree in the relevant sector area. You will also hold, or be willing to work towards, a Certificate in Education and have a good all round level of education which will include a Level 2 Maths and English qualification. Experience of teaching Btec courses within a School or Further Education environment is also essential.
