This international membership organisation that promotes and advances civil engineering around the world is looking for a Journals Editor.

The prime focus of the Journals Editor is to ensure that journals publish on time and to budget, responsibilities include managing the review of articles, themed journal issues and developing journal titles and operation.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Act as point of contact for Editors, authors and reviewers worldwide
- Project manage the review of articles and themed issues
- Work with the journal and contacts to develop new material
- Ensure appropriate quality control procedures are in place
- Provide Editorial Panels and freelance staff with a high level of administrative support
- Maintain clear and accurate schedules of projects they are supervising
- Monitor Editorial Panel member meeting costs.

What are they looking for?
You will demonstrate good customer service and communication skills. You will be used to working as part of a team and be able to organise your time effectively.
A high level of computer literacy, attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills are also required.
