At the core of their business lie product innovation, excellent customer service and good people.The Role – Technical Support Specialist (Biomedical Scientist or Laboratory Technician)The primary role would be to provide first line technical support to customers, and to contribute in delivering an excellent customer service. The role would be expected to support primarily the Clinical Diagnostics business. This would include supporting the systems, reagents and software of this division.The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting departmental KPIs and for contributing to smooth running of the day to day support operation. To be considered, you should have the following experience:1: Identify, research, and resolve technical problems on the company’s product portfolio2: Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support3: Document, track, and monitor cases on a daily basis to ensure compliance and timely resolutions4: Prioritise multiple issues and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner5: Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction6: Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively7: Work with Dispatch/other to ensure cases are routed to the proper resource in order to be resolved quickly and efficiently8: Escalate cases that require 2nd level support9: Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures10: Basic remote access solution implementation and support11: Help with training and development12: Complete paperwork and formsYour Background – Technical Support Specialist (Biomedical Scientist or Laboratory Technician)Work experience and Biomedical science experience would be good. Otherwise work experience in the Clinical lab or serology lab.Bachelor in Biomedical science, Biochemistry or similar. Preferably with a Research focus in the academic degree.
