Would you be interested in the below? My client are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Specialists in bespoke hybrid power systems for Aerospace and Defence are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to work at its facility in Bangor, North Wales. The role is a critical leadership position and is responsible for a diverse range of Engineering projects and activities. You will report to the Operations Director and you will be directly responsible for a team of professionals.
Main Duties:
You will play a critical role in the management, control and direction of Manufacturing Engineering.
The extent of your duties will include:
• Lead, motivate and support a diverse team within a demanding environment.
• Responsible for the Engineering department, driving continuous process improvement.
• Implement change and contribute in cross-Functional Initiatives within your department and the broader business.
• Be a key contributor in the formation and delivery of the Operations Strategy, including developing processes, plans and employees to meet the strategic aspirations of our business
Skills and Qualifications:
• University Degree in Engineering with functionally focused, deep technological expertise.
• Knowledge of Toyota Production System and be able to demonstrate implementation experience.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a comparable role.
• Excellent knowledge of operational processes, technologies, products and solutions.
• Effective project management, including effective resource allocation.
• Skill set to drive the business in a coaching and mentoring environment.
• Experience of planning and scheduling activities.
• Experience of managing work carried out under controlled documents.
• Understanding of AS9100.
• CNC turning and milling & assembly process knowledge.
