Prospero Teaching is working with a lovely 2 form entry Primary School in Greenwich who are looking for an energetic and enthused Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for their KS2 classes to join their staff team for September 2017. This position will be appointed on a full time permanent basis, 5 days a week, 8.30am - 4.00pm

The ideal HLTA will display enthusiasm and charisma. You will ideally have a HLTA qualification or equivalent. You'll be spending most of your time with small groups in year 5 (KS2) so experience covering whole classes or working with groups and individuals in KS2 will be advantageous and the ability to manage groups of children effectively is imperative. You will be a professional and dedicated HLTA who genuinely has a passion for education and perhaps wants to become a teacher.

Criteria
* Must hold a valid DBS disclosure and be registered with the update service.
* Hold the right to work within the UK.
* Have UK teaching experience and strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
* Teaching qualifications - PGCE, Diploma in teaching, Bachelors of Education, QTS.
* Relevant experience and qualifications preferable.
* Be creative and initiative.
* Have drive and tenacity.
