About the role

We are looking for a Peripatetic Manager to join our Operations team, to manage services in times of change to ensure the continuity of compliant, safe and effective services which meet customer, organisational and financial needs.

Salary - £35 – 40K

This position is a Regional Field based role, however you will be initially based at our Selwyn site in Gloucester.

It is essential the job holder will ensure that they fully understand and fulfil their responsibilities in respect of both Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity.

The role may include on call work (subject to service requirements)

A flexible approach is required for this post.

Main duties and responsibilities

Service / Operations Delivery

Commercial Development

Financial Controls

Quality Management

People Management

Understanding the expectations, aspirations and needs of the service user’s resident in that service.

Understanding the expectations, and requirements of service commissioners,

Understanding the requirements placed on the service by Statutory Authorities, and,

To understand the Policies, Procedures, and expectations of CareTech.

The successful candidate will have

Registered Manager Award or similar relevant professional qualification also essential

NVQ5 Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards desirable but not essential

Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths are essential

Budgetary controls experience

Experience in auditing processes

Full, current driving licence desirable (may be essential for some services)
