Elevation Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit an ambitious and commercially astute Commercial Finance Analyst for a leading multinational manufacturing business based near Scunthorpe.

The role's main purpose will be to support the Finance and Operational functions in the development of divisional goals, by providing financial insight to the performance of potential, current and historic activities. The role will drive the tender process within a fast paced multi-disciplined environment which encompasses both UK and international opportunities.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

* Providing financial support to the business development team during the tender process, by assessing the financial and commercial returns within a controlled risk environment.
* The communication of projected project returns and risks to internal stakeholders ensuring that divisional and group KPI's are met at all times
* Preparation of weekly and monthly reports as required by the Business and by project teams.
* Attendance at project meetings and monthly operations meetings, as required.
* The use of investment appraisal techniques during the contract appraisal/acquisition review processes.
* Maintaining and updating KPI analysis' where appropriate.
* Supporting the wider finance team including the Financial Accountant and Finance Business Partners (UK and International) on specific projects during periods of high demand and workload.
* Supporting systems implementation, including group and divisional rolling out.
* Supporting initiatives to increase and improve compliance and processing controls within the division.
* Take ownership of the divisional forecasting process, including consolidation of divisional companies and reporting monthly variances to budget to key stakeholders.
* Analysing the allocation of indirect and central overheads down to contract level and establishing templates to be applied on an ongoing basis.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.

The successful candidate will require the following:

* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification.
* Excellent reporting skills including use of excel in developing and maintaining robust financial models.
* Strong Analytical skills, coupled with the desire to understand the operational process in order to add value, and challenge assumptions during the tendering process
* Excellent interpersonal skills, willing to work as a team for the furtherment of the divisional and departmental objectives.
* A pro-active individual with willingness to ensure financial accuracy across multiple projects and communicate ideas and issues effectively.
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage conflicting deadlines

The ability to communicate the impact on margins, cash and future risk profile of the division will be a key determinant of success in the role. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, possess strong excel and analytical skills and will be comfortable working as part of a wider team or using own initiative.
