Randstad CPE is currently looking for an experienced maintenance plumber to join our client on temporary basis in the Edinburgh area. Previous experience working on public sector/government contracts would be an advantage.

Your main duties will include:

* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports, works as Key Team member.
* Carry out Reactive and emergency tasks.
* To complete all tasks using handheld technology effectively.
* Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hour's cover.
* Assist other team members when required or as directed from Supervisor or Contracts Manager.
* Ensure all tasks are completed within the contractual time scale.
* To have a proactive approach to sourcing additional opportunity's or works on site.
* Supervision of visiting sub contractors with regards to standard work and Health & Safety, issues of appropriate Permits, controlling small works.


* City & Guilds or SQV3 or equivalent in Plumbing / Mechanical Serving.
* Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment
- Including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
* Strong customer care focus.
* Good communication skills.
* Capable of completing essential paperwork.
* Full UK driving license.
