This newly created position has been introduced to ensure that this prestigious Law firm is capturing the maximum number of new instructions from the leads that it receives regarding Residential Property issues.

Job description:

This position will be responsible for dealing with all new enquiries relating to services provided by my clients busy Residential Property team. This includes anythings relating to Conveyancing and other non-contentious property matters.

It is envisaged that once established, the position would also begin managing enquiries relating to services provided by the Private Client Team, including Wills, Powers of Attorney and in possibly in due course Probate and Estate Administration.

The position is client relations sales based position, to include complete responsibility for the administration and organisation of new enquiries relating to the above, providing for effective management of this pipeline including timely following-up and accurate reporting of these at different stages .

The role will involve spending much of the working day on the phone to prospective clients that have made an enquiry. Administrative tasks will include data entry, prioritising tasks, liaising with secretaries and lawyers, and distribution of written communication.

The role will only comprise of dealing with inbound enquiries. The role will not involve any ‘cold calling just capitalising on warm leads that present themselves’.

The successful candidate will work with the firm’s Business Development Manager, but will also work closely with Lawyers and Secretaries across the Residential Property Team. Working hours will be 09:00-17:30 Monday to Thursday, 09:00-17:00 Friday.

Person specification:
The successful candidate will be personable, professional, energetic, enjoy promoting and selling the benefits of the services of the firm and enjoy working towards and exceeding realistic targets related to the conversion of enquiries into instructions.

The successful candidate will enjoy speaking with prospective clients over the phone, building relationships and selling the benefits of the firm’s services compared to competitors.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously and be able to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.

The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as be comfortable learning to use the firm’s own specialist software system. Training will be provided.

Successful and proven experience in a sales position and working to sales targets will be considered an advantage. Additional sales training will be offered to the successful candidate as appropriate.

This firm organise free events for their clients, providing them with updates on various areas of the Law and guiding them on the implications of these changes for their business or personal circumstances. These events cover Planning Law, Landlord & Tenant Law, Commercial Property Law and Employment Law. This firm also operates various networking events for business leaders, providing them with the opportunity to discuss localised issues and hear from speakers including local Members of Parliament.
