What will the role involve?

You will help learners gain qualifications and progress towards employment. This will be within associated qualification frameworks and will meet all company quality and awarding body requirements. The role specialises in the delivery of on-line and classroom based English learning.

Some of the main accountabilities will include:

• Support learners to identify their learning needs and select appropriate on-line support materials to meet these needs.
• Produce and review an effective learning plan in conjunction with each learner and their individual support needs.
• Monitor learner progress by proactively checking access to learning and asking questions to ensure learning continues and learners achieve in a timely manner.
• Actively seek feedback from learners on learning support materials in order to review and improve the service and learning experience.

What skills, experience, and qualifications are we looking for?

Your application must be able to demonstrate:

• Recent teaching experience and a Level 4 or above teaching qualification.
• Minimum of Level 3 qualification in English and a Level 2 qualification in mathematics.
• The proven ability to support individual learner needs throughout their program, identifying additional support and resources to support learner success.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong IT and organisational skills.
