I am currently working with a prestigious client in the Chippenham area. They are looking to expand their existing team by recruiting a marketing & communication executive.

As part of the marketing delivery team that consists of several other communications and marketing planners as well as specialist event management, design, digital and web resources, you will form part of an "agency" style approach to deliver services to CSS and the marketing functions responsible for each business.

The role is project management focused and encompasses responsibility for assisting in all aspects of the marketing mix, from delivery of design, copy, campaign approaches, email campaigns, collateral and other ad hoc marcoms activities, through to manipulation of data and coordination of social media, digital and web elements of campaigns. Whilst you will have access to work with a pool of internal resources for elements of creative design and digital campaign planning, you may also be required to work with external agencies for specialist elements of campaigns assigned to you.

Your responsibilities -
* Taking briefs and working with the marketing managers to develop campaigns that support delivery of strategic marketing objectives for the CSS businesses
* Creation of multi-faceted campaign plans as well as delivery of individual campaign elements; providing effective, practical and integrated approaches
* Creating and editing copy provided through briefings or by business stakeholders
* Working with our internal design resource to manage appropriate design application for all collateral and communications activities whilst taking advantage of the opportunity to utilise existing creative applications and approaches and maintain a level of consistency across the business
* Working with our digital manager and digital exec to identify digital elements of campaigns, commissioning and reporting upon, appropriate development of web and digital assets
* Briefing and managing external suppliers and agencies, ensuring they deliver to agreed objectives, times and budgets
* Manipulating data for the purposes of campaign distribution and ensuring appropriate use of CRM for management of campaigns, reporting and lead/opportunity management
* Liaison with the commissioning marketing managers and any assigned key stakeholders, providing regular reporting, ongoing management and evaluation of activity value/ROI
* Providing financial input for campaign elements; requesting quotations for externally sourced elements of campaigns, creating purchase orders, logging and reporting on spend on behalf of the commissioning marketing manager
* Attendance and reporting at weekly resource planning meetings run by the Marketing Operations Manager in order to ensure the smooth ongoing management of the marketing delivery team
* Attendance at bi-monthly marketing team meetings; sharing best practice, identifying barriers and discussing how to resolve them, identifying where we could be better
* Travel and overnight stay is a part of this position as is the flexibility to work longer or alternative hours on occasion

Your experience will include:
* Relevant experience working in a similar role within a corporate organisation
* Confident manner to liaise with stakeholders, suppliers and consultants at all levels
* Excellent project management skills, with strong organisational and planning skills and a proven ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle many things at once
* Ability to adapt to ever-changing workload priorities with a willingness to take responsibility and ownership of role
* Self-motivated with an ability to work within a wider team environment
* Proven ability to work autonomously, manage own workload and see tasks through to completion
* Strong copywriting, proof reading, written and personal communications skills
* An understanding of the full marketing mix, including web and digital principles
* An appetite to learn new marketing skills and digital disciplines
* Inquisitive nature and an interest in keeping updated with industry knowledge
* Professional attitude in all aspects of business and a flexible approach to fit in with the needs of the business
