They currently have vacancies for a Senior Support Worker in their Cambridgeshire service.

Position: Senior Support Worker
Location: Cambridgeshire – St Neots, Huntingdon, Little Paxton, Bedford, Cambourne, Sandy
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £17,264 rising to £18,300 pa (dependent on successful completion of probation and Health and Social Care Diploma/NVQ Level 3)

About the role:
At Hft Cambridgeshire they work closely with the people they support, their families, carers and health professionals to deliver services that are personalised to meet individual needs and wishes. They encourage the people they support to choose how they live, while their innovative solutions support people with learning disabilities in making those choices and leading fulfilling lives as part of their local community.

In addition they have a dedicated team who are specifically trained to meet the needs of people with Prader Willi Syndome and challenging behaviours.

About you:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a role model to Support Workers to deliver great support and assist the Registered Cluster Manager to monitor, report and maintain agreed standards.

As they provide 24/7 support you need to be able to work shifts, working varied flexible hours including evenings and weekends (with potential for on-call duties).

Hft is committed to the Investors in People process and have excellent training programmes (with Skills for Care Accreditation). You will be given a comprehensive induction and development programme with support from your local manager and a Learning and Development Specialist.
