IT Support Analyst - Leeds - £19-21k

Role Purpose

Working as part of the IT team, the role provides support of IT systems to all users within the firm.

Involvement in various IT projects is required. This role is critical to the successful running of the

organisation's IT systems.

Key Responsibilities - within your group

* First responder to IT support requests using the in house helpdesk system
* Provide high quality IT customer service to all users across the business - in particular via phone calls and face to face
* Administration of server infrastructure based on Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix technologies
* Responsible for managing own support calls, escalating where necessary, prioritising, providing feedback, and documenting the resolution into the helpdesk system
* Participate in IT meetings and regular one to one's with the IT Manager
* Involvement in IT projects

Key Responsibilities - general

* Ensure the firm's IT systems are available at all times
* Implement and ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
* Ensure confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times

Experience - essential

* Technical understanding of Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to demonstrate an interest in technology and aptitude for IT and learning
* Understanding of customer service behaviour and skills
* Confident and clear communicator
* Microsoft server technologies such as Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint
* SQL databases
* Networking
* Degree standard qualification in an IT related subject
* Knowledge of the working practices and behaviour within a professional services firm (in

particular a law firm)

Personal Specifications

* The ability to communicate at all levels to technical and non-technical people
* Use problem solving skills to find resolutions to IT Support queries
* Excellent attention to detail
* Display a professional approach at all times
* Can operate flexibly and as part of a team
* Desire to improve technical knowledge through research and self-learning
* Can travel between the firm's office locations
