Senior Residential Support Worker
My client is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join their organisation within the Chichester area. My client is an established residential provider who is committed in their investment to provide quality therapeutic care to enable growth in the children & young people they work with. You must have your QCF level 3 in children and Young adults or equivalent, and at least 1 years senior experience within a children's home.
You will be required to work as part of a staff team, communicating and consulting with others as necessary in the course of your duties. Undertake regular Personal Development Training and complete all Mandatory Courses, Monthly Child Focus Meetings, Senior Meetings, Staff Team Meetings, and any other training as directed by the home's manager. To undertake individual responsibilities as and when requested and it is your responsibility to ensure these checks are completed on a daily, weekly, monthly basis depending on what your key responsibility is e.g. fire checks, car checks, Health & Safety, First Aid etc. this may change regularly and without prior notice. To support the at all times the young people's independence and attend to the young people's physical and personal needs if appropriate.
This is a full time role and the salary is £18,000 - 21,500 per annum depending on experience and an additional 4k can be paid for sleepovers.
