Trainee Contracts Manager
About the company: A new growing building contractor dealing in refurbishments, conversions and extension of residential properties as well as new build of individual homes. With projects situated generally in South London and Surrey. Due to continued success and an upsurge in new business this position has arisen.
Role : To join the management team in controlling the working sites and liaising between the site managers and the office. Assisting in bring the projects in on time and in budget. Helping with the procurement of supplies as well as keeping all sites working to quality and within Health and Safety requirements. Training of all procedures will be provided from internal processes as well external continued personal development courses to enhance training. Role will be split between dealing on site as well as in the office.
Arrange all site set up at the start of a project, ensuring it complies with all CDM Regulations. Placing orders with sub-contractors. Work with the site manager, carry out site visits to ensure works are progressing on programme and on budget. Ensuring a high H&S record is maintained on site. Ensuring suppliers invoices are accurate
Requirements: Candidate must have/hold
Full driving licence required due to nature of the role.
Experience and/or education in building surveying
Extremely Organised and an eye for detail.
Competent with Microsoft Applications
