Exact working hours: 36 hours per week (8.45am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm Friday.

Any further details: Successful applicants will need a full driving licence and access to a reliable car for work purposes and be available to be on-call on a rota basis. Any offer will be subject to acceptable references and a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About the Role

yourSanctuary is a Surrey based charity which provides specialist assistance to women, men and children affected by domestic abuse. Using your communication skills and proactive attitude you will empower female survivors of domestic abuse to live a life without fear. Working in our community based service you will provide practical and emotional support and enable clients to reach informed decisions about their future. You will undertake risk assessments, produce safety plans, and liaise with statutory and other agencies. In addition, you will facilitate group work programmes and take calls on our 24/7 specialist helpline as well as deliver presentations to help raise awareness. 

You must be well organised and have a professional and flexible approach to your work along with a calm and re-assuring manner.
