The Role

I am recruiting for a Clinical Lead Nurse (RMN) to work in a Nursing home near Seaham.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior to further develop their career with a rewarding and supportive company. You will be Nurse Qualified (RMN) with high standards of clinical nursing and at least 2 years Senior care home experience. The role is full-time, 40 hours, working flexibly on either day or night shifts. They are offering up to £33,200 for the right candidate.

The Person

The service is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Clinical Lead Nurse (RMN) to take responsibility for the well being of their residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. A valid NMC Pin is essential and a good working knowledge of CQC standards, NMC guidelines and the Health and Social Act 2008. You will be experienced in a person centered approaches for delivering positive outcomes for the people they support.

You would be leading and supervising the support and nursing teams to deliver the highest standards of person centred care using clinical governance and their own personal development. You will be familiar in areas concerning sickness management, staff training and development, and coaching and mentoring. You will have an effective way of communicating with your team, the service users and their families.

The Home

The Nursing Home is located in the outskirts of Durham, offering dementia & general residential care. They deliver support that is of the highest standard and is tailored to meet individual's needs, wishes and choices. The service, itself, is committed to providing care and compassion in a safe, secure but stimulating environment for up to 70 adults living with Dementia, Mental Health Conditions and/or physical disabilities. As well as offering respite places and supporting adults with a dementia-related illness, they also provide specialist care for Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's Disease and Schizophrenia.
