Are you an ambitious private client tax semi senior keen to take the next step in your career?

Tax Specialists Clark Wood are working with a national firm of accountants who are looking to add a Private Client Tax Semi Senior to their central London tax department.

The role will involve managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.

As well as the day to day compliance work for your clients, you will have involvement with the provision of tax planning advice to your clients

Manage all aspects of tax compliance for a portfolio of straightforward clients
Calculate tax liabilities and ensure that tax payments are correct and made on time
Maintain an up to date client status schedule
Monitor WIP, prepare fee proposals for consideration by partners/managers, and chase debts
Assist in dealing with HMRC correspondence and client queries including obtaining relevant or requested information
Liaise with senior team members to regularly communicate progress of work
Continue to develop an awareness of UK taxation and accounting matters
Assist with general administrative duties
