Senior IT Support Engineer

A successful multi-site organisation are looking to recruit a Senior IT Support Engineer to provide 2nd and 3rd line support within their newly established central London offices.

Key skills required for this role include independent working, collaboration with colleagues around the globe and the ability to quickly assess (both technically and in terms of business impact), prioritize and resolve IT issues.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with colleagues across the UK to deliver a world class service to all internal customers
• Perform hardware/software installation and maintenance including upgrades and patch installs
• Evaluation, installation, troubleshooting of network, email and virus issues
• Build of PC’s, monitors, attach peripherals, configure hardware and run diagnostics
• Troubleshoot hardware/software and perform necessary repairs
• Handle special projects with no degradation of ongoing assignments and responsibilities
• Supporting and troubleshooting a variety of Video Conferencing and other Audio Visual Systems

• Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to interact and build relationships with personnel in multiple business roles at multiple levels

• Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks within an agreed timescale

Technical Knowledge - Desired
• Expert Technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Mobile Phones, Two Factor Authentication and MDM technologies
• Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager
• Scripting in VB / Powershell / AutoIT
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and communications is required
• Experience of Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server
• Knowledge of telephone and AV systems
